UGA HL Qualifies to the NDT!

Two University of Georgia teams will now be at the NDT.

UGA HL, senior Karen Harrison and freshman Austin Layton, have officially qualified to the 2010 National Debate Tournament, advancing from the tough District Six debate tournament.

After two days of competition, HL secured a solid 4-2 record, including wins over Emory and Wake Forest. They will be joining UGA CL (Cambre and Lacy) at the NDT in Oakland, CA in mid-March.

Also competing were UGA HM (Dillon Horne and Meredith McKay) and UGA BZ (Eric Bogert and Willy Zhang).

Thanks.  I see from the Website that UGA has its high school tournament this weekend.  I am hoping there will be a dedicated Website post with related information for this tournament - attendees, results, rumors, recuiting efforts, local dining choices (Taco Stand!!!).
