I may be mistaken but (i) the deadline was moved to 3/19/10, (ii) there will likely still be Georgia Center rooms available after the deadline, and (iii) as I recall there is at least one hotel (Holiday Inn?) right on the edge of campus (and I'm sure the Debate staff will assist you in locating a local hotel). UGA Debate is currently occupied with NDT (the "national championship" tournament) this weekend, but should be able to assist soon.
Hope you can make it.
This looks fascinating, and I hope I can attend. I'll have to juggle my work/travel schedule, but I hope to be there to represent the team circa 1969.
I only received this invitation on March 17, the day after the close of reservations for the Georgia Center. I presume that there will be other lodgings in the community available, but if I can make it, I'll miss staying on campus.
